About The Only Bay

NYC native Bay Melnick Virgolino, lead guitarist/vocalist for The Only Bay became obsessed with rock and blues at 2, picked up his first guitar at 4, and played his first live concert the day he turned 7. At 9-years-old, he has already headlined at the legendary The Bitter End, rocked out at international festivals in 3 countries, become a Michael Kelly Guitar and Samson Tech artist, and was featured by WNYC for his philanthropic work with the non-profit Kids Rock For Kids. Influenced heavily by Slash, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, Buddy Guy, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bay performs regularly with today’s brightest young musicians from across the US and beyond.
